This is an IN-PERSON RENEWAL course that requires participants to attend the classroom and live-range portion DC residents and non-residents who want to RENEW their conceal carry weapon permit in the District of Columbia, must use the online MPD Firearms Portal to complete the required form and submit payment. In order to utilize the online portal, you need your username and password; and you must use the same email address that you provided to the Firearms Registration Unit during the initial Concealed Carry process. Once your renewal application has been approved a new license will be mailed to you. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to the start of class, for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions! The document will also include a Firearms Safety Briefing and Range Safety Briefing.
