    This is a 8-Hour IN-PERSON Classroom Session PLUS Live-Range Qualification Our Maryland Wear & Carry Permit RENEWAL Training that covers the Maryland state-required course material as well as instructor-guided range training to ensure trainees meet the gun safety; application process, and proficiency requirements. Students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force. Applicants for Personal Protection must shoot a course of at least 25-rounds from no further than 15 yards and score of 70% accuracy during live-fire qualifications.     This is an IN-PERSON RENEWAL course that requires participants to attend the classroom and live-range portion DC residents and non-residents who want to RENEW their conceal carry weapon permit in the District of Columbia, must use the online MPD Firearms Portal to complete the required form and submit payment. In order to utilize the online portal, you need your username and password; and you must use the same email address that you provided to the Firearms Registration Unit during the initial Concealed Carry process.
