This is a 16-Hour Classroom Session Plus 2 Hour Live-Range Qualification Our Maryland Wear & Carry Permit Training that covers the Maryland state-required course material as well as instructor-guided range training to ensure trainees meet the gun safety; application process, and proficiency requirements. Students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force. Applicants for Personal Protection must shoot a course of at least 25-rounds from no further than 15 yards and score of 70% accuracy during live-fire qualifications. Welcome to Boom Boom Firearms Training Academy! 12-Hour Basic Training Course This course covers the new 17 Basic Training "Mandated" Objectives, outlined in legislation under Both Senate Bill 760 (original effective date June 1, 2024) & Senate Bill 729 (new effective date of January 1, 2025), making it MANDATORY for "ALL" Security Guards in the State of Maryland, whether Armed or Unarmed, employed with a Security Guard Agency. *GUARD AGENCIES; WE WILL ALSO COME TO YOUR WORKSITE TO PROVIDE THIS TRAINING ON A DATE/TIME CONVENIENCE FOR YOUR GUARDS!
