Description
This course is classroom retraining and practical exercises to make previous trainees more well rounded. COURSE LOCATIONS: This is an in-person course held at the National Harbor or Tyson’s Corner location that also requires participants to attend the live-range located at: · National Harbor Classroom Location, 6710 Oxon Hill Rd Suite 210, National Harbor, MD 20745 · Fire-Range Location - Maryland Small Arms Range, Inc. 9801 Fallard Court, Upper Marlboro, MD · Tyson’s Corner Classroom Location, 8200 Greensboro Dr., McLean, VA 22102 · Fire-Range Location - Elite Shooting Sports, 7751 Doane Dr., Manassas, VA 20109 COURSE LENGTH: 4-HR In-Person Classroom or Practical Exercises IN-CLASS LIMIT: 15 Students STUDENT REQUIREMENTS: · Unarmed security officer · Armed security officer/courier · Security canine handler · Alarm respondent · Students must bring a valid driver’s license or state issued ID to class with them for verification. · Students must arrive on time and be present for the entire duration of class. · COVID-19 Paperwork (provided in class) WHAT'S INCLUDED: · Classroom Retraining or Practical Exercises · Use of Firearm, Targets, Ear Protection and Eye Protection · Certificate of Completion WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED: COURSE NOTE: · For more information on visit: https://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/licensure-and-regulatory-affairs/training/courses

ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to the start of class, for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions! The document will also include a Firearms Safety Briefing and Range Safety Briefing.
