Course Description

In-Person 05E Armed Security Officer Arrest Authority COURSE LOCATIONS: This is an in-person course held at the National Harbor or Tyson’s Corner location. · National Harbor Location, 6710 Oxon Hill Rd Suite 210, National Harbor, MD · Tyson’s Corner Location: 8200 Greensboro Dr., McLean, VA COURSE LENGTH: 8-Hour In-Person Classroom and Range Training IN-CLASS LIMIT: 15 Students STUDENT REQUIREMENTS: · Unarmed security officer · Armed security officer/courier · Security canine handler · Alarm respondent · Students must bring a valid driver’s license or state issued ID to class with them for verification. · Students must arrive on time and be present for the entire duration of class. · COVID-19 Paperwork (provided in class) WHAT'S INCLUDED: · Classroom Instruction +Arrest Powers +Policies +Procedures · Certificate of Completion WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED: COURSE NOTE: · For more information on visit: https://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/licensure-and-regulatory-affairs/training/courses

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY Due to the State of Maryland suspending the "Good & Substantial Reason" Standard, causing a High Demand of Concealed Carry Handgun Class Requests, ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- No Refund; No Exceptions. I acknowledge and accept these terms. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. IMPORTANT. Federal firearm transport laws U.S. Code title 18, part I, chapter 44, 926A "interstate transportation of firearms” any person who is not otherwise prohibited from transporting, shipping or receiving a firearm shall be entitled to transport a firearm for any lawful purpose from any place where he/she may lawfully possess and carry such firearm IF, during such transportation, the firearm is unloaded, and neither the firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such transporting vehicle; provide, that in the case of a vehicle without a compartment separate from the driver’s compartment, the firearm or ammunition shall be contained in a locked container other than the glove compartment or console. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to start of class, prior to the start of class for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions!
