Course Description

Our Maryland Handgun Qualification Licensing in-person course is a two-tier course that includes a hands-on gun-range portion and a four-hour classroom portion that consist of the following minimum curricula: 1) State Firearm Law; 2) Home Firearm Safety; 3) Handgun Mechanisms and Operation, and 4) Operation and Handling Demonstration. HQL is a requirement in order for Maryland residents to obtain a handgun for Home Protection. COURSE AGENDA/LOCATION(S): **IMPORTANT. - Mask are optional in Classroom and on Range Fingerprints are offered as a convenience for our Students to allow them to complete all of the 3-Mandatory requirements in 1-day. Cancellation & Course Policy

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY Due to the State of Maryland suspending the "Good & Substantial Reason" Standard, causing a High Demand of Concealed Carry Handgun Class Requests, ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- No Refund; No Exceptions. I acknowledge and accept these terms. Notice: We Follow OPM For Weather Closures - Closure will follow OPM Status Click to See OPM Status > https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/snow-dismissal-procedures/current-status/ If Training is interrupted due to OPM Closure, Training will resume when OPM status is open for business. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. IMPORTANT. Federal firearm transport laws U.S. Code title 18, part I, chapter 44, 926A "interstate transportation of firearms” any person who is not otherwise prohibited from transporting, shipping or receiving a firearm shall be entitled to transport a firearm for any lawful purpose from any place where he/she may lawfully possess and carry such firearm IF, during such transportation, the firearm is unloaded, and neither the firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such transporting vehicle; provide, that in the case of a vehicle without a compartment separate from the driver’s compartment, the firearm or ammunition shall be contained in a locked container other than the glove compartment or console. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to start of class, prior to the start of class for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions!
