In-Person Maryland W&C Permit Day 1:National Harbor Class Day 2: MSAR
Description
This is a 16-Hour Classroom Session with 2-5 Hour at Range on October 7-8, 2023 According to "Maryland Wear and Carry (Handgun Permit) Update on July 5, 2022 from Governor Larry Hogan, directed the Maryland State Police to suspend the "Good and Substantial Reason" Standard for Wear & Carry Permits. Our Maryland Wear & Carry Permit Training that covers the Maryland state-required course material as well as instructor-guided range training to ensure trainees meet the gun safety; application process, and proficiency requirements. Students will leave with an understanding of carry procedures, legal issues and use of force. Applicants for Personal Protection must shoot a course of at least 25-rounds from no further than 15 yards and score of 70% accuracy during live-fire qualifications. This is an in-person course that requires participants to attend the class and live-range. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to the start of class, for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions! The document will also include a Firearms Safety Briefing and Range Safety Briefing.
