This is a Buddy Package for TWO People -- Can be Family or Friends This course is a basic entry level overview or refresher in firearms safety; an excellent source of information for an introduction into the world of responsible firearm ownership, and students requiring a good refresher. COURSE LOCATION: This is an in-person course GROUP Session. Held At Maryland Small Arms Range COURSE LENGTH: + Basic 90-Minute Session to include Classroom Lecture and an Introduction to Firearms +Selection of 6-8 popular handgun types +Introduction into ammunition / cartridge types to include: 22 caliber; .380 acp, 9mm, .40 cal, and .38 caliber; and .45 cal +Firing of various guns and ammunition on the Live Range STUDENT REQUIREMENTS: · Students must be 21 years of age · Students must bring a valid driver’s license or state issued ID to class with them for verification. · Students must arrive 15-minutes prior to class and be present for the entire duration of class. ****When registering 2nd Person, enter their first & last name, address, DOB, Email, and Phone number in Comments Section****** WHAT'S INCLUDED IN GROUP SESSIONS: + Basic 55-Minute Classroom Lecture/Overview +Basic 20-30-Minutes for Introduction to Firearms w/Live Shooting + Firearms Safety Rules +Nomenclature & Mechanics + Magazine Loading & Unloading + Loading Magazine into Firearm + What's a Malfunction +Correcting a Jam with Immediate Action +Fundamentals & Marksmanship (proper stance, grip, aiming, breath control, trigger control, trigger squeeze, and follow through) +Firearms Safety in the Home + Disassembly & Reassembly a Firearm + Cleaning & Inspection +Various types of Ammunition - Instructor Dependent +Target +Safety Gear to include Ears & Eyes + Discussion of available next-step class training options such as Private Sessions, MD Handgun Qualification License (for MD residents only), MD Wear & Carry Permit, DC Concealed Carry Weapon Permit WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED: +Laser Sim Range Shooting +Personalized Live-Range Fire +In-Depth Md State Laws; yet covering Deadly Force Session Limit: 40 Students ***Depending on the number of registered students, please allow extra time for assignment into Group A or Group B. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY ALL SALES ARE FINAL -- No Refund; No Exceptions. I acknowledge and accept these terms. ON-SITE/COURSE POLICY No Ammunition, nor Firearms, including concealed firearms are allowed on this facility, nor into the classroom, without advance approval -- which is a strict training environment. When permitted to bring firearms to class, Repeating, Do Not Bring Ammunition to class. All students will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to the start of class, for security reasons due to handling firearms. No Exceptions! The document will also include a Firearms Safety Briefing and Range Safety Briefing.
